Senor Burritos - Denver

I visited this restaurant for the first time today and was disappointed with the fajitas once I got home and opened the box. For $20, there wasn't much food, and the flavor was lacking. The guacamole and refried beans had the same issue. I'll give this place another shot in the future and update my review if my experience improves.

I recently had lunch at this restaurant and I was quite impressed. The place was tidy, the service was quick, and the food was delicious. I appreciated the prices given the generous portions. It's definitely the kind of spot where you can build your own meal a la carte. I tried the soft chile relleno with green chili, which was exceptionally good, and I also had a hard beef taco. I enjoyed a soda along with complimentary chips and salsa. My total came to about $15, including tip, which I thought was very reasonable! It's one of the few places where I can get just the right amount of food without feeling uncomfortably full afterward.

The beans are just like how my mom used to make them. The homemade chorizo and chili have a mild flavor that's really tasty. I got two burritos for $12, and they were a good size. Definitely worth the trip downtown. Food rating: 4/5.

Love love love. Chile is not spicy BUT get some of the hot sauce and it will change your life. Always gets the order correct, good food, good people. My only issue would be I wish they were open earlier so I could get it before work.Food: 5/5
