This is dog friendly, with dog friendly owners. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend it.
Stayed here for one night whilst walking the Limestone way. Room was spacious and comfortable and breakfast was really tasty. Was great to see the cows on the farm and to watch the birds in the garden on the feeder. A little bit remote in terms of location and we could hear the owners in the room below during the early evening.
Stopped off on a detour from our walk, lovely views from the surrounding area. We ordered tea and tea cakes for two which was served on a spotless bone China tea set. The tea cakes were freshly toasted and served with butter and a dish of strawberry jam. The tea pot had a knitted tea cosy to keep the brew warm. Good atmosphere and loved the small window into the barn from which the calves could watch us! Will definitely return.
See review on Bassettwood, served cream that was off. No apologies and had to pay for the dish. Cream had been open for 5 days was past it’s use by date .
We stayed here last night after a wedding at Tissington Hall. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent with local food. We would not hesitate to recommend that anyone should consider staying here.
