Fredericks Bakewell Cafe Gelataria

Purchased a 99 and one for my partner from the van £10 what a rip off when challenged answered very arrogant it is Bakewell and I pay £40,000 for pitch. Rubbish ice cream and even worse service. Never again.

Bought 99 ice cream cornet from one of their vans in Bakewell. 4.50 !!! What a rip off !! I’ve cream poor as well. Will never buy this rubbish again!!!!!!

Stopped here after a short walk with my husband and 2 dogs, wonderfully friendly staff gave us some icecream for the dogs, they loved it I had the double cone with chocolate and salted caramel both tasted absolutely amazing, best I've ever tasted will definitely be going back.

We stopped here for a gelato on a sunny day and were in for a treat my husband had the cherry, as you do in Bakewell, and I had the coffee both were delicious and so creamy.

Slightly off the beaten track Fredericks sells the best Italian ice cream and superb coffee. Tiramisu, Sicilian Orange shared over a proper cappuccino (no stupid chocolate sprinkled on top) and a smooth latte. Great decor (stylish steam bent stools, lots of glass and stainless steel). Enthusiastic, charming and knowledgeable Italian sommelier perfect grown up treat away from the usual tedious afternoon tea, or fish and chips. Molto Bene!
