The food is beyond what we expected for the venue (which is a little tired) but can see the potential for some great summer days with loads of room to play for the kids outside and so much to see st the weekend with the microlights.
If you are arrivng on two wheels, don 't expect a smooth ride! We arrived on motorbikes and just managed to stay upright on the rubble/chippings . How you could advertise this for cyclists I 've no idea! Anyway, in we went to discover that the Chef has been gone since January so no food apart from some biscuits possibly a cake (but didn 't see any) and coffee and tea. Oh and the website update to explain the current situation was met with a shoulder shrug. So it looked great last year but not now!
Looking for a good breakfast before heading back to Sussex having been on holiday in the Peak District we stumbled upon the Aviator Cafe. We received a very warm welcome and had a great breakfast, hard to fault! Would definitely recommend and would return if we were in the area again.
Food was good choice just a shame the tea was awful needs more than 1 tea bag per pot and the cups was to heavy somebody elderly like the lady I took really struggled holding the cup
Had a lovely long walk locally and called in for lunch. The food was magnificent and the welcome was genuine and friendly excellent value will be returning soon.
