The Country Kitchen - Derbyshire Dales

I reluctantly put on my mask while muttering under my breath. The manager then accused me of swearing at him, to which I clarified that I was not. He went on to say that I was always coming in and complaining about the food and service to other guests, despite not having been there in over a year. He ultimately banned me from the restaurant and refused to serve me. In disbelief, I chuckled and left. As I was exiting, he warned me not to return.

The chicken curry was incredibly tasty, with large pieces of chicken and fluffy rice. The garlic bread was exceptional. Everything was homemade and the prices were very fair. We are looking forward to our next visit.

We traveled from Kent to find breakfast and were happy to discover that it was just as great as we remembered. Although we had previously visited this restaurant for coffee and cake, their breakfast exceeded our expectations. The service was quick and the staff made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was tasty and we will definitely return as soon as possible.

We were travelling from Stoke-on-Trent to Buckinghamshire so stopped here for the proverbial cup of tea. Gosh what a very pleasant surprise. Beautifully decorated, great variety of food on offer (we succumbed to lemon drizzle cake too) and a bijou shop within the café too full of more tempting goodies.
