PHO 515 - Des Moines

Pho 515 is back! And the place looks amazing after they remodeled it. The soups are way better this time around. The flavors were on point! Service is a lot better, way quicker than before. Our apps and entrées were timed perfectly. And of course the veggies are super fresh since it?s located right inside of C-Fresh. So you can do your grocery shopping right after. They did raise their prices but the proportion is huge so totally worth it the money. Stop by and support thelocals! (Pho special and bun bo hue are pictured below)

I was surprised at the quality of food here especially by the Pho. Overall the food I purchased here was good and satisfying. Pho: 8.5/10. Pho here is definitely better than average. Strong mild beef flavor, clear broth, darker rich color broth, I can taste and smell the aromatics, and broth balance was very good. Bun Cao: 7/10. Tasted fine. Nothing special. Bo Kho:7.5/10. Good beefy flavor. Some of the meat portions were cut incorrectly, when I bite into it, the meat wastoo long and big to chew. Baggett was perfect. Eggroll: 8/10. Good. Spring roll: 7.5/10. Taste fine. Good peanut sauce. Fried rice: 8/10. Good.

I eat Pho? all over the country and hands down this is the best nationwide! Real Vietnamese food, really tasty! Come eat here and thank me later!

Visit Des Moines for the first time and we were looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant. Most of the Vietnamese restaurants here just sell Pho. This restaurant serves a lot of other soups and more authentic soups! The wings were big and juicy. The soups were flavorful and had the right ingredients! The service was great and they got us what we needed and quickly! I think this is the best in Des Moines! You have to try it if you haven?t!

For a small town it is good, there are some good Vietnamese restaurants. I chose 515 because the food on the pictures looked good and fresh. I don't regret coming here. The food was great and it saved me from hunger or eating evil bar food or evil American food. I am game, erasing American food for any ethnic food period!!!
