The Lazy Gator - Diamondhead

Lazy Gator is one of the few places in Diamondhead to eat. It's got a good variety of food and nice atmosphere right on the water. My friend and I have been here a lot and always enjoy it. The Buffalo chicken sandwich, gator bites, flatbreads, mahi tacos..the list goes on of what we've tried. They have live music on occasion as well as trivia night! The trivia is fun. What a great way to entertain people while they eat. I will have to post some pictures once I come here again!

We've enjoyed the Lazy Gator on beautiful sunny days and gray rainy days. The view of the Bay is phenomenal. The food keeps us coming back. Today I enjoyed coconut shrimp that were plump and cooked perfectly. My husband enjoyed firecracker shrimp and a Cesar salad. His shrimp was also a nice size and the seasoning had the perfect amount of heat. The salad was fresh and croutons delicious airy crunchy bites. Service is always good. Definitely a go to place for lunch or dinner on the MS Gulf Coast.

The specials as you walk in say one thing but you don't get the what is written. The price was $18 but charged $24. Special comes with crispy red potatoes but you get tater tots and not red potatoes. Menu has a item that list gator bites but haven't had gator even before the menu was printed. If you ask about it they offer more shrimp. Most items are alcart. Management and owner have zero customer service skills.

Great place. The food was wonderful and service was good. We stayed and danced some to the live band. This was a special family weekend and this place was a hit with our crew.
