Contribuisci feedbackThis inconceivable restaurant offers authentic tasting Thai food. both the fried rice and the Tom-Yum soup tasted slightly sweet. the pad thai was too wet. the 2 appetizers, the baked cake and the roasted tofu were both delicious. it is an unusual fund along route 15.
This place is amazing. I've dined in twice and tried a few different things, and all were well made and delicious. I adore the Thai Iced Tea. My husband swears by the Tom Yum Soup. Lovely atmosphere and great service, too.
#96 is sooooooooo goooood! Huuuge portion, served with rice. I shared it with my fiancé and we both were full with delight and savory flavors omnomnom. Service is very sweet and friendly too. Aaaand anything can be easily turned into vegan, they were so flexible and patient with us we will definitely come back!
Have lived in Central PA for three years now and just discovered this wonderful Thai restaurant. Excellent food, large portions, and reasonable prices. Had the drunken beef, Pad See Lew, and pineapple rice. All fantastic! Having visited Thailand twice and sampled Thai food there and in several other countries, I can say this restaurant is exceptionally good.
I think it's important to understand a few things to better understand Pakha'sFirst of all this is Dillsburg and Pakha's is about as ethnic as you are going to get for miles, and I absolutely welcome the change however I have been coming here for years and getting people to come here has been difficult, many in the area just don't know Thai food and avoid this place just because they don't know it or understandConsequently you will find many things on the menu that aren't Thai. Roast chicken has been a staple along with many Chinese dishes, because I think many people need a familiar optionThe outside is rough people have been cobbling together the outside of this place going back decades and it shows. It was an Italian for years and that facade still shows through inside and outThere's a lot of ticky tacky knick knacks inside, which I've actually seen in a few other Thai places. The staff are usually friendly and helpful the service is usually good, although I will say it's been somewhat slow and it's been hard to identify why sometimes? Most of the Thai food is pretty good, if I had a complaint it would be that there often is a lack of fresh vegetables in some of the dishes, and you would have to order the addition of vegetables as an add on which I kind of don't appreciateThe standard heat level is mild, which I'm sure has to do with the clientele. If order something hot, it will be hot, like in country hot.The food has been inconsistent over the years, sometimes being great and sometimes being lacking. I've been told that's because the owner isn't always in county and the quality suffers so take that for what it's worthI would still rate Pakha's 3.5 stars, but I'm going to round it down this time. I'm honestly just underwhelmed. I love that they are here the spring rolls and Tom Yum are usually great!I love curries and they just lack a good punch here and a lack of good vegetables.. scallops and shrimp are almost always overcooked.I will keep coming back because it is good here, just not great. It's close and everyone is always friendly.
