Chavolitos - Dolores

I just enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Chavolitos for Mother's Day. The service was excellent, as always, and the margaritas are freshly made with real fruit at the bar. I treated myself to a delicious dinner followed by fried ice cream for dessert, and I didn't want to request anything more—it was that good! Every time we visit Chavolitos, we have a wonderful experience. The service is impressive, and the food is consistently fresh and tasty. It's definitely worth the short drive to get there. I absolutely love this place!

Great food and service. You have a salsa bar with everything from mild to Caliente along with spices to jazz your salsa. No surcharge for chips and salsa like the joint at the other end of the city. I had the #29 and loved it.

My wife and I dined at Chavolitos in Dolores yesterday for the first time. As discerning gourmet eaters, we were extremely pleased with our meals. The quality and portion sizes were exceptional, and the food was genuinely authentic Mexican. The service was superb, and the restaurant was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and well-maintained. This place is a rare gem of a Mexican restaurant and definitely deserves a five-star rating! We’ll be returning… many times. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I stopped by this afternoon craving some Mexican food and was delighted to find that the lunch special—fajitas—was still being offered. I couldn't believe how much food I received for the price! The meat was a bit tough, but it was incredibly flavorful. I've noticed that many Mexican restaurants use flank steak, which can be a little chewy. Having spent 70 years in Texas enjoying Mexican cuisine, I can confidently recommend this place. The salsa was fantastic too! The service was excellent, and the beer was ice cold!
