Morani's Gelato - Doncaster

Wonderful first visit, we’ll be back. I’ve heard positive things about this little place and called in because my son really needed a treat. He had a simple scoop of vanilla in a tub with sauce, I went for chocolate orange in a waffle cone. Delicious! Our bill was about £5 but we could easily have been ‘up sold’ more. Pictures of a strawberry sundae would have persuaded us to spend twice as much. But we don’t see any images. Being able to see take out tubs would have persuaded us to treat the family. We arrived ten minutes before closing time on a sunny Saturday and we were made to feel very welcome in the immaculately clean place. The young lady who served us busied herself by cleaning windows as we ate… a lovely indication of the high standards of cleanliness. And I’d like to thank her for lovely service with a smile when she must have been thinking it was almost the end of the shift! I’ve posted a photo of the location because I didn’t know where this little gem was.

We were really looking forward to our visit here after we’d heard good things from friends , however it took ages for us to be served and the ice cream was very sweet , The kids would of been better with a cornetto. I don’t expect high end from Thorne but a please or thank you would’ve been nice , the decor is nice but that’s all , really disappointing

My daughter loved the chocolate ice cream. Very clean and friendly, I also recommend the cheese toastie.

Having driven past this place lots and lots of times before, we finally decided to treat ourselves after lockdown and I’m so glad we did! The ice cream here is absolutely gorgeous! Banoffee waffle out of this world! Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are friendly and helpful. Social distancing measures all in place. Absolutely my new favourite go to place in the area. Yummy!!

I used to live nearby, loved this place from when they opened, so on route home from holidays, took my partner, her mum and kids, all agreed, this is some of the best ice cream. Everything is spotlessly clean, and high quality, the staff very friendly and helpful when faced with so much irresistible choices.
