Palfreys Lodge - Doncaster

Absolutely fantastic eating and service. very friendly staff and beautiful decor. the service was great and the personal has really recommended us and cannot wait to visit again

Not bad but the occasional shooting puts you off your lunch

Palfrey’s lodge in cantley is a large pub/restaurant with an indoor children’s playground. I was there with the kids first, and I found it was pretty good with the two things I was there. the play area is big enough to be the children for an hour or so while they eat, and it seems good enough to be well maintained. my little boy just went around and around to go on the slide for almost two hours. I had steak sandwich both painting because it was the first time so good! they go without the mushrooms, although it is much better. many parking spaces on the back and a nice simple location in cantley. I have heard that sometimes it can be a bit rough, but I didn't see it through the day.

Unfortunately, the espresso machine caused a power outage. We also experienced a false fire alarm at 6 AM. The restaurant and reception staff are competent, although some could be more proactive. They offer dry cleaning, and newspapers can be delivered within 24 hours of room service. The Wi-Fi connection is reliable, and there are spa services, wedding, and conference facilities available. Additionally, the bus links are very convenient.
