Rothwells - Doncaster

I want to express my gratitude to the woman who served me today on November 29th. She noticed that my hand was bleeding and immediately gave me tissues. This young lady's exceptional customer service should be acknowledged. Thank you again.

The food was delicious and the staff was excellent. We had lunch and were even complimented by the staff. Lovely experience!

Just like Grannie used to eat.. I love this fish shop its always good. Not the cheapest but you pay for what you get. Friendly and clean

I used to work at Rothwell on Copley Road about 20 years ago with some wonderful coworkers who became like family to me. We didn't work too hard and always got a break where we could have whatever we wanted to eat. My go-to meal was a small piece of battered cod, which was absolutely delicious. The cod was flaky and the batter was so crispy. I would add some curry sauce, mushy peas, and scraps to complete the meal. To this day, I can't think of a more satisfying and tasty meal. I recently returned to Rothwell's and found that the food is still heavenly and the chips are still plentiful. I do miss having Pauline there, though.
