The Flying Childers - Doncaster

Another great Family get together at the Local Flying Childers. Great ambiance, friendly efficient staff, warm and cosy atmosphere and superb food again. Tuesdays meal deal we had was a pint and a cowboy burger at very low prices! You cudnt get this at home for the price, and top class quality and portion size. Our local Since Marsden's took it over. Immaculate, great atmosphere, great food, warm, cosy, exquisite food and very cheap.

I recently visited Childers for its 50th anniversary with my family, a group of about 20 people. Despite the crowded atmosphere, the staff did an incredible job serving everyone. The day and night were filled with numerous performances, making for a lively atmosphere. Kudos to Sam and her team for their hard work.

The waitress at the bar was patronizing and overly officious, asking my daughter for ID just 3 minutes after she was already checked by the barman standing only 1 yard away. This experience made us decide to limit ourselves to only 2 pints, instead of our original plan for 10.

Once again we choose to eat at this pub after a lovely weekend away with family and we couldn't have finished it in a nicer way .Staff are very friendly and professional and the food was once again faultless. We even had a fun game of connect 4 before our delicious desserts . Highly recommended this pub .
