As for the food, the chicken biryani was outstanding, and we enjoyed it the most! The goat biryani was decent, but the meat was incredibly tender, fresh, and delicious. Overall, it was a great value for the money!
**Hilsha Fish:** I was quite disappointed with the Hilsha fish dish. While the taste was decent, I was surprised to find that half of the fish pieces were small sections close to the tail, which made the dish's presentation unappealing and less enjoyable. I would give the taste a 3 out of 5. **Rice:** Unfortunately, Al-Amin served low-quality rice instead of the Basmati rice I was expecting. The subpar rice significantly impacted the overall meal, as the quality of rice is crucial for a satisfying dining experience. **Dal (Lentil):** On a brighter note, the Dal was enjoyable, featuring a nice balance of flavors that added to the meal. **Chotpoti:** The Chotpoti was one of the standout items in my order. It was generously portioned and packed with delicious flavors. **Moghlai Porota and Samosa:** Without a doubt, the Moghlai Porota and Samosa were the highlights of the menu. These dishes truly shone, leaving me impressed and fully satisfied. **Packaging:** However, the packaging was disappointing. The low-quality materials resulted in much of the food being poorly packaged, which is unacceptable for takeout. This flaw affected both the presentation and freshness of the dishes. Overall, I would rate Al-Amin Supermarket Restaurant as an average establishment. While some dishes were tasty and impressive, the issues with the rice quality, fish portions, and packaging were major drawbacks. If there's an option to dine elsewhere, like at Purnima, I'd recommend that over Al-Amin. In summary, Al-Amin Supermarket Restaurant has the potential to enhance its dining experience by addressing the aforementioned issues. With a few necessary improvements, it could become a more competitive and appealing choice for customers looking for a satisfactory meal.
Had to update my review because their KACCHI BIRYANI IS TRULY THE BEST!!!!! Time and time on they are just the best place to eat biryani! Great Bangladeshi grocery inside as well. Their Borhani is also yummy! Only available on weekends tho
Ordered three different items to try for iftar, The portions were good the food was seasoned really well the spice level was just perfect. You could tell the food was definitely made to order and fresh. We will be ordering from here again very soon.
We went to check out their famous beef tehari morog polao! But unfortunately those were finished. So we ended up with plain rice, ruhi fish dopeaza, beef bhuna daal! The foods were amazing. Had authentic Bangladeshi taste after a long long time. If anyone wants to try Bangladeshi cuisine, it’s a must go place! In Shaa Allah we’ll visit them again if we visit Atlanta
