El Paisano Mexican Taqueria - Doraville

The portions are generous, but the prices feel excessive compared to similar restaurants. The drinks are also quite overpriced. While there's a sign stating that the drive-thru is now open, no one seems to be paying attention to it. The staff doesn't appear eager to assist; they aren't rude, but there's a noticeable lack of smiles on their faces. Additionally, the restaurant has always been empty during my visits.

I ordered a steak quesadilla, rice and beans, and a bottled Coca-Cola. The total came to nearly $20.00 before tip. Unfortunately, the steak quality wasn't great. Spending $22.00 including tip for just a quesadilla and a soda felt excessive. This was my first and last visit!

I ordered the nachos for $20, adding rice on the side. They were supposed to come with cheese, but there was none to be found. That's fine, I continued eating, but then I noticed a strange object in my food. I have no idea what it was—it looked like some kind of stick or stem. At that point, I completely lost my appetite.

The food was decent, but I wouldn't recommend ordering delivery. I placed a straightforward order for five people: two chicken fajita platters, a steak nachos, a ground beef nachos, and a torta. The torta was the only item they got right. Unfortunately, everything arrived soggy because the sauces weren't packaged properly and leaked all over the food. They also don't allow special requests on their DoorDash profile, so the nachos came with lettuce and tomato mixed in instead of on the side as I preferred. They sent only one fajita platter instead of the two I ordered, and that one arrived without vegetables or tortillas. Based on other reviews, I might consider dining in, but I won't be ordering delivery from them again.

I’ve found my new favorite place! The tacos are quite big, so make sure not to order too many!
