Besides that, this Cantonese-style restaurant was decent but not exceptional. It’s a simple, small eatery with soap operas playing in the background on the TV. It brought back memories of my visits to South China (which is a positive), but it’s not somewhere I would choose for a nice dinner with guests. However, if you’re a fan of crispy pork, this is definitely the place for you.
Overall, it was a pretty good experience! Unfortunately, the crispy pork we ordered had a larger portion of fat than we expected, but it still tasted great. We also shared half a duck and an order of Gai lan, both of which were excellent! The servers were a bit strict with the customers, which some might find expected in this type of establishment. Another thing to keep in mind is that they only accept cash or debit.
This restaurant is tucked away a bit from the main road, so be careful not to confuse it with the other BBQ spot nearby. The service was friendly, and our food arrived quickly. The Cantonese Grill offers authentic and delicious dishes. Please note that they only accept cash and debit payments.
I had added the soy chicken over rice with a fried egg. The chicken was very tasteful and delicate. This was my first time here, and I really want to come back. The prices listed in the Google menu are not accurate. I will later add photos with exact prices.
