Anta Pottery - Dornoch Highlands

Coffee was pretty poor. Only 3 biscuits on offer. Worst thing was the place was FREEZING. Staff were all wearing coats and hats inside. Perhaps problem with heating? If so they should have closed! Or given coffee for free! We left early!

This store is fantastic, with lovely products and possibly the best coffee and cake in Scotland! The service was excellent as well. Thank you so much.

We made a quick stop at this café to enjoy a delicious cake and freshly baked scone. The service was excellent. It's more of a coffee/cake stop that complements the Anta shop, rather than a typical café. Other food options may be available depending on staff availability, but you can always count on having a great cup of coffee. The location is fantastic, and special thanks to Cath for her awesome service in the shop.

We were here a couple of times in August for the Anta sale. We used to really love the Anta cafe. It had great, wholesome food, lovely staff and a warm welcoming atmosphere. It was a destination in itself. But this year all had changed it was just about hanging on for dear life. There was only a miserable offering of a few cakes, no sandwiches, quiche or soup as in the past. One person only serving. I was amazed. It seemed to be almost dead. And in this expensive home furnishings shop the toilets were a total disgrace. One was closed completely, out of action. The other one was dark with only a faulty, horrible flickering light and the toilet seat was hanging off the pan. All in all a HUGE disappointment.

I have been to this restaurant three times. During my first visit, the food was excellent. However, during my second visit at 1:30pm, the chef had already left for the day so there was no food available. On my third visit today, the chef was "outside" and although we ordered food and drinks, after 15 minutes there was still no sign of the chef. Our coffee had finished, so we paid for our drinks and left. The first visit had been great, but it was disappointing to not get any food on the next two visits. The young lady who served us was doing a fantastic job, but it seems she was let down by the chef's absence. I applaud her for staying positive despite the challenges.
