Contribuisci feedbackHad a great meal at the Old Mill tonight. Erica was a fantastic server and was very attentive to all of our needs. She answered our questions about the menu with expertise. We had a wide range of items from soup to fried seafood appetizers, to fish entrees and beef. Also had potato sides and salads. Everything was excellently prepared with large portions. All the things that we had that were in-house made were fantastic, easily the most tender hamburger steak I've ever had. My wife's fish was excellent, we really enjoyed the Grecian preparation. The beer was cold and the drinks from the drink menu were excellent. My wife says that this is a Dothan classic, last time she went was 20 years ago. Doesn't look like they've lost a step. We will definitely come back again, thank you Old Mill! Update 2/23/21 Had another excellent meal last night, fried fish and prime rib. Get the prime rib blackened and grilled, you won't regret it!
Visiting from out of town. Had the Grouper and Filet Mignon with Sweet Potato and Veggie Skewer. This was the best meal I've had on the trip thus far. Only negative was the amount of time it took our food to come out.
Don't sleep on this cute little spot. The grilled chicken with swiss is phenomenal. Can't wait to try dessert next time we go!
The food was great. The servers were all wearing face coverings which made me very happy. They were seating with plenty of spacing between tables. Over all a great first experience back in a restaurant.
The Old Mill Restaurant is always a good place to get a quality steak. The homemade yeast rolls are the best (make sure you ask for their secret warm steak sauce to dip your rolls in, they don’t offer it normally, you have to ask for it). The seafood is fresh, love the grilled fish. The service has gotten lazed over the years, it takes patiences when they are very busy. However, if you want a good steak and seafood, you cannot go wrong.
