Caffe Macaris - Dover

The woman who served us, whom I believe was the owner, was delightful. The food was fantastic - we tried a sandwich with sausage and bacon. The atmosphere was also great.

I walked into the restaurant and there was only one person being served, so I thought great, this won't take long! However, I ended up waiting for 5 minutes while the server struggled to remember the man's order: a strawberry milkshake and a can of Dr. Pepper. After three attempts to confirm the flavor of the milkshake, and an additional 2 minutes to calculate change from a five-dollar bill, I had to leave. If I had ordered eggs on toast, I probably would have received chocolate cheesecake and been short-changed. Absolutely not worth it! I will never return to this place.

I stopped by for a sandwich. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the price was reasonable. The only downside was that the bread could have been of better quality.

I have used Caffe Macaris for many years. The staff are lovely friendly the food is delicious also good sized portions value for money. I would recommend to anyone.

Popped in here for the first time today with my good lady for a coffee and breakfast (hangover cure for me).... Nice little cafe and one we'll be coming to again. Really friendly staff, nice atmosphere and the breakfasts were very good and all well priced. Will be coming back here more often that's for sure...... may even try the MEGA breakfast one day!!
