Cana By Tropicana - Downey

I recently visited Cana by Tropicana for the first time, and it definitely met my expectations. I stopped by after seeing a flyer that offered a free slider and yucca fries. As soon as I walked in, I was warmly welcomed and shown to a table. The staff made excellent recommendations for the sliders, and I opted for the Lechon Sliders. My food arrived quickly and came with a delicious spicy garlic aioli. From the first bite, I knew I would be coming back! The French-style bun was warm and soft, and the ground beef was tender and full of flavor. Still feeling a bit hungry, I decided to order a chicken club, and I was impressed by the generous portion. Having eaten at many restaurants and sandwich shops, I can say the price was very reasonable. I had plenty left over to take home. I highly recommend checking this place out, especially since they have fun live music nights on Thursdays and Fridays!

The fries are fantastic! Although the burgers and other dishes were tasty, my chicken didn't quite meet expectations.

We were welcomed with exceptional service the moment we stepped into the restaurant. We were greeted promptly and seated immediately. Our server was attentive and offered great recommendations from the menu. We came specifically to try the food using a coupon for a free slider and a beer sample. The sliders were incredibly tasty, and we also loved the yucca fries and shrimp fritters. I will certainly be coming back to try more dishes from the menu.

I came here for the first time yesterday afternoon for a coworker‘s birthday. From the moment my coworkers and I walked in the staff was very welcoming and warm. Since it was my first time I was treated to a chorizo beef slider, for free! It was absolutely amazing and I will definitely order it again the next time I go. For my lunch I ordered a Pollo Frito with a sugar cane soda. Everything was absolutely delicious! The food and the welcoming atmosphere are much better than what is projected when you walk into this place. Shockingly and unfortunately it was very slow. I hope people get excited about this place and give it the business it deserves.

Tropicana Bakery and Cuban Cafe serves authentic cuban delicacies from delicious pastries to mouthwatering Cuban sandwiches that competes hands down with more well-known venues in the city. It has plenty of parking in the back, although you may miss the entrance. Don't give up, and you won't be disappointed. The food is simply delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly and there is plenty for you to choose from. You may pick up to enjoy with family at home or come for a sit down full experience. Although depending on the day and time, the wait is not as bad.
