Tacos Don Chente Downey

This place is by far the best Mexican food in Town. I highly recommend this place!!! The tacos, quesatacos de birria, quesadilla Don chente are amazingly delicious. So yummy!!

Tacos Don Chente is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is excellent and always prepared fresh. The staff is so friendly, the restaurant is always in immaculate condition, the food portions and quality are always good. I tell all my friends about Don Chente when they come to Downey. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for excellent service and food! Parking is easily accessible, too and that's important. I like the indoor/outdoor seating options. Great place all around!

The prices went up and they are stingy with the food especially the meat no bueno!

First time trying it but I've enjoyed Mexican food for many years. Buy, the burrito I bought had carne asada with delicious flavor. Not too much not too less and I totally recommend this place and I will go back before we head back home.

The food was delicious, but the agua de pepino tasted quite stale, almost like it was made with tap water. It’s usually refreshing, but whoever prepared it this time should sample what they serve to customers before it goes out.
