Squeezy's Pizza

It's been 10 years since my last visit, and it's just as excellent now as it was back then!

Friday noon 12:00 pm To the restaurant manager: It’s really a SHAME that they don’t give out paper plates as the girl with curly hair( colored yellow) said to customer who bought two large pizzas and 14 cans of sodas for a bunch of people at work! I’d like to take the liberty to assume that the girl thought his father owns the business and she was trying to save 10 cents as 40 count of paper plates cost $1.25 at Dollar Store; this place probably buys them cheaper.

I attempted to contact a manager for a refund and called six times, but each time I was put on hold. They promised that the owner would return my call, but I never heard back. The customer service was terrible, and it felt like a complete rip-off. It's disappointing that the owner is too stingy to address customer complaints. To add to this, their spaghetti was also terrible—just noodles with no sauce. I will be sharing this review widely on social media.

I was apprehensive about the hype. The pizza was good. It wasn't great, but everyone has their preference. While this may be amazing for someone else, it wasn't amazing for me... but it was good! Parking was easy and the vibe was very much like an upscale Shakeys. Server was very nice and we were seated without much of a wait. With all of the hype I felt a bit let down. I'm accustomed to Pedones, Valentino's, La Crosta and (gulp) Costco. DPC is a good pizza place, but nothing more. I will compare this place to Brickhouse in Whittier. Not the same type of pizza, but equally as good in quality. I will not go out of my way to return, but if I must eat at DPC my taste buds will be happy. With all the choices in pizza places within the greater LA area it'll definitely be an option.
