Coppa was always one of my favorites, especially the pizza (best in town). Recently prices have gone way over the top. The drink prices are ridiculous. One night my family and I went to 1/2 price pizza on a Monday. We were charged .30 for a glass of water!!! C'mon, they can't afford to give you FREE tap water. My views have changed towards Coppa 82.
I am likely to continue enjoying the well-prepared meals at Coppa 82. This is thanks to their high-quality, generous portions, and the freshness of the ingredients. Additionally, I want to highlight their strong emphasis on hospitality. What impressed me the most was the care and attention given to service and customer experience. I sincerely commend them for their excellent hospitality and delicious food.
I had one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. For starters, any decent line cook should have a salt and pepper mixture on hand, but that was completely absent here. None of the dishes, including the fries, were seasoned at all. If you didn't get your food right out of the fryer, there was no chance of it being flavorful; there wasn’t a single grain of salt or pepper on anything. To top it off, the fries tasted like they had been cooked at least 30 minutes earlier. I was incredibly disappointed and would wager that a nursing home likely uses more spices than this place does. It seems like anyone who owns this restaurant must be making orders blindly without tasting what comes out of the kitchen, as the food was really bad. I hate to leave such a negative review, but I know I won’t be returning, and I’m sure many others feel the same way.
I won't be returning! It's not just because of the poor meal—I'm all for second chances. However, when I called to discuss the inedible dinner with the owner (along with his son), he became extremely defensive. He seemed more interested in why I hadn't called sooner and insisted that there was no illness involved!
