Empanada Mama - DOYLESTOWN

Food was good. It is a takeout, walk up window pickup only. I placed my order on line and was asked to leave a tip (defaulted to 20% during the ordering process. Would have given more stars but was very annoyed being asked to give a tip before having any interaction or receiving service from any staff.

The empanadas are really good! I love that they have a wide variety of options. Plenty of vegetarian options as well. I recommend this place and we will visit again! They are probably delicious when fresh however, I believe mine were microwaved. The pastries was soggy, and the empanadas were limp to the point where it kind of folded over in my hand. I am used to hot empanadas even after they heated them up for me. They were barely warm. However, staff is friendly and they have a good selection. I may have just gotten there at the wrong time. Seems like the sauces were all mayonnaise. Based, they should add chimichurri.

The food was really good , although on doordash it's 4.50 for 1. Also it did not specify quantity. Was really let down with how much for a single empanada . Needless to say I'm still starving and going to just eat cup of noodles now... ?

The empanadas are always amazing, we willingly travel 45+ min to pick them up!! My husband I also took the empanada cooking class it was so fun we learned so much!! We’ll be back soon!
