Brisket was dry, the sausage had a plasticity because of the shell. The ribs were okay. The Bbq sauce was not so pleasant. Not worth the money or stop the time. Sub par food.
Big Q! Why pay for Salt Lick when you have this place! All meats were tender and damp, sauce was brilliant and some great beans too! Good prices! Definitely worth a stop!
We stopped here on a really nice sunny day and were able to eat outside on their patio and watch the cars go by. It was extremely comfortable and relaxing and were able to let our little dog sit with us. The stuffed baked potato and large brisket sandwich were just amazing and the cold Coke to wash it down made it even better. Their barbacue sauce was homemade and very very good. I highly RECOMMEND this place and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. So happy trails and dont forget to stop in and eat.
Not bad. To compare this place based on its location, then it was really good as this place was packed and obviously a place where families come to enjoy the food and the atmosphere, I got chicken fried steak and brisket as well as some Mac and cheese with chocolate chip cookies. For it's area as well as the cost also the quality good, the menu was easy, but to really look into it and compare with other BBQ facilities this was Mediocre first the brisket had no taste as it can be tender and fall apart, but no spices? Also take the rest home and heat up the next day. No flavors to find. Can have the smell of BBQ and tenderness, but not worth a second time, the chicken fried steak, although it was fresh the lack of spice and the severity was mixed with some cream, the pommes were only made, but no salt. If this was in Austin or a bigger city, it would be with the main theme 's I see with this BBQ. For it's area is good if you want BBQ
