We absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is incredible, and the prices are unbeatable!
The food was outstanding and reasonably priced! The service was excellent, and the staff was extremely friendly.
We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at the Leaning Pear, and they did such a phenomenal job accommodating us, despite the challenge that the AC had gone out in the restaurant just a day or two prior to our event there (we were planning to be inside). They tried their best to have it repaired in time, though it wasn't possible and we understood that it was out of their control. To make it up to us, they did at least refund the space rental fee we had paid, which was great. Even though it was a bummer not to be inside as planned, we just flowed with it anyway, and they moved our party into the breezy screened in patio area instead with a bunch of fans, and it was totally fine. It can be challenging for servers with a party of 32 like we had, but they did an awesome job the servers were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food and drinks were delicious too. This is a great venue to consider for your private events, and we will be back again in the future!
I was set to drop 5 stars on here for this place on our way to dinner there on Saturday night. However, we went on in with our guest we wanted to introduce to this favorite of ours in Wimberley. Unfortunately, this time, things were not up to par. Our favorite appetizer, the Brussel Sprouts, were Inedible this time! Giant, whole.sprouts thrown in only. Charred outside, completely uncooked inside, too tough to cut or chew! I politely sent them back and our waitress asked if we wanted another batch or a refund, both of which I declined, saying please let the kitchen know! I really love this place (the Blanco pizza is beyond fabulous), but the Brussel Sprouts were a favorite too. PLEASE FIX THIS! Our young waitress was new perhaps. She was attentive, but also interrupted us mid-sentence over and over even when standing right there and not waiting for a look to signal we would stop at sentence end. It was rude, maybe a lack of experience. Anyway... we LOVE this restaurant and are hoping they straighten out the kitchen issues before we come again. It has been a favorite spot for us to bring our Hill Country guests... many!... but, I think we'll see how it is on our own before doing that again.
