The Pheasant - Drogheda

I can only give this place one star because we didn't get to eat anything. We made a reservation, and their website states that food is served until 8 PM, but when we arrived, we were informed that the kitchen closed at 7 PM.

I made a reservation through this app for 7 PM, but when I arrived at the restaurant, I was informed that the kitchen closes at 6:45 PM on Sundays. Additionally, I found out that the waiting staff does not have access to online bookings. As a result, I had to find another place for dinner. Save yourself the trouble of booking online; the reservation times are irrelevant.

I had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. The staff was warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. The food was not only reasonably priced but also beautifully presented and delicious. The ambiance was lovely for a dinner setting, enhanced by the TVs and radio playing in the background. The side dishes exceeded my expectations and were truly exceptional. To top it all off, the staff surprised me with a slice of cake and sang happy birthday to me. Overall, my family and I had a fantastic experience.

Having no real Irish beer on tap is a little unforgivable but other than that a very enjoyable visit. Friendly and efficient staff.

Great food, great prices, great service, staff couldn't do more for us!!! Highly recommend, will definitely be back.
