Yesterday, I spent a few hours in Drouin, exploring the city for the first time in years. I decided to grab a quick lunch at Nick's Bakehouse, attracted by the number of locals frequenting the place. The friendly staff took my order inside, and I opted to sit outside on a bench since all the outdoor tables were taken. A kind employee soon delivered my steak and wobble cake, along with a delicious double-flavored strawberry milkshake. While the cake was tasty, it was slightly disappointing that it wasn't warm. However, the milkshake was top-notch and one of the best I've ever had. It was relaxing to sit outside and overhear others chatting about their upcoming cruises, with plans dependent on COVID. Overall, a pleasant and enjoyable experience at Nick's Bakehouse.
This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed coffee, Vanilla Slice, carrot cake, and mousse, all of which were delicious and served well on a sunny afternoon. The cake selection was impressive. We sat outside under an umbrella, enjoying the interactions with pedestrians and dogs passing by. The service was very friendly and efficient.
Nick’s is cheap and comfortable, with a lot of space. they feel like home with the friendly service. there is a good selection of food and the coffees are also good. we had two coffees and a large slice of carrot cake...for under $11.
It's your typical country bakery , staff are friendly, service was prompt, pricing was good , food was okay.
