77 Veggie Boutique - Dubai

I found it very confusing whether this restaurant is vegan or vegetarian. The owner claims it is 100% vegan, but the menu and website mention Cow Cheese as an ingredient. The staff also seems to lack understanding of what vegan means. It would be helpful to educate the staff, update the menus, and use only vegan ingredients. The food tastes okay, not amazing but not terrible either. I have been to many vegan restaurants where the food tasted much better.

This restaurant is not fully vegan, but it is a vegetarian restaurant that is vegan friendly. Please update the status of this restaurant from vegan to vegetarian. Thank you.

On 23/1/2015, I felt the need to revise my original review and increase the star rating from 3 to 4. I recently ordered from this restaurant again and was pleased to find that the menu was now much easier to read and included clearly marked vegan options. Also, all vegetarian dishes are labeled if there is a vegan option available upon request. The food still tastes great and is fresh. This restaurant is a unique addition to the growing independent dining scene in Jumeirah Lakes Towers and offers a welcome international option for vegetarian cuisine in Dubai. Everything is made from scratch and the menu offers a variety of interesting dishes not commonly found elsewhere. While not cheap, 77 Veggie Boutique provides a range of options that are sure to satisfy both vegetarians and meat eaters alike. The menu even lists the calorie count for each dish. Although vegan options are somewhat limited due to the use of dairy in many dishes, it is still possible to make a selection based on the ingredients listed in the menu. The restaurant has an outdoor seating area that is perfect for evenings, but be mindful of parking restrictions during prayer times. Overall, 77 Veggie Boutique is a great choice for those looking for fresh and flavorful vegetarian fare in Dubai.

I wanted to submit 0 stars gice, but an evaluation I had to give 1 star, and the website added another 1 to make it 2 stars. as a customer of the food plan of 77 veggie, I would ask everyone else to avoid this business, as they have used food ingredients that I was unbearable and had filled out on my registration form, no macro meal plan was ever tailored to my requirements and sent out as recommended in the applicant, and finally they stopped all deliveries and honored their contract with the customer. very unethical business, the owner and manager do not follow a transparent business model, as they keep customers in the dark and hardly accept emails/telephone calls/WhatsApp messages. don't waste your energy, time or money on this outfit.
