Sole Seafood Grill - Dublin

Amazing service, beautiful food, and well priced for the quality that you receive I cannot recommend this place enough. We had a large group for this dinner and they asked us to move to a later reservation to accomadation their needs but they never made us feel as if we were rushed. As we were a large group I had the privilege of trying multiple dishes and everything I tried was absolutely delicious. Fantastic quality, amazing service, a must.

We visited Sole while in Dublin. We had oysters as appetizers, for the main dish I had the king scallops in mash and my husband had the sirloin steak, everything was just delicious and the services was great. Higly recommend!

Going into this place, the expectations were high, given all the reviews and awards, and I must the overall experience was nice, but when it comes to seafood, and comparing to restaurants in Spain and Portugal, this restaurant is good, but not an amazing 5 star review, when we have other fine dining seafood places around Europe. The food was quite good, and well presented, except (ironically) the sole the flavour was good, but the presentation was somewhat bland. The best dish was the rock oyster selection. They were really good. The scallops were cooked perfectly, and flavour wise quite good. The crab claws, were ok. The monkfish and tiger prawns were a little bit on the dry side. The Rum Baba was Ok, nothing special. I loved the fact that they had a kids menu. Overall a good experience. I give it 4 stars.
