The Carpenter - Dublin

I recently dined at The Carpenter and was thoroughly impressed. The staff were warm and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The food was exceptional, each dish a culinary masterpiece with an explosion of flavors. The cozy ambiance added to the overall charm. The Carpenter exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it for its friendly staff, delectable food, and inviting environment. I’ll certainly be returning for more memorable dining experiences. Kudos to the team!

A good local. Never too jammed and can usually get a seat. Bar staff are friendly and service is good. Food is middle of the road. Definitely not bad but nothing to write home about. In terms of choice on the menu again, it is middling. Because it doesn't standout in terms of quality, it definitely feels overpriced. But, this is not a criticism of the Carpenter the reality of bar food in a lot of pubs. Definitely recommend it as a local but if your primary reason for going out is a meal, there are some nice restaurants in D15.

Terrible service, was quiet, told one of the girls where we where sitting as they take your order at the table, 15 minutes later nobody had came near us, we went up and asked for menus and they said they be down to us, another 15 still nothing, the manager passed us and asked the tables next to us was everything ok as where sitting their with nothing in front of us, the girl had the card machine for the other tables never came over to us, we just walked out, never again, they have lost interest in their customers and don't care.

Dropped in for food. Lasagne was full of green peppers with poor quality meat and a sauce more reminiscent of Ketchup than lasagne. Very over priced too. Nice pub otherwise, just don't eat there...

Love the food here. Mad about the spicy wings and much more. Eent to Off Licence and there was after being trouble regarding the Spar and the lovely Gentleman working in the Off Licence refused to let me carry a bix if Bulmers to my car he carried it out. Thank you to him.
