The Blue Point - Duck

Blue Point is an exceptional restaurant! The view of the bay is stunning, and the staff is consistently friendly and attentive. The chef's creations are spot-on, and the mixed drinks are delightful. Be sure to try the oyster stew while it's in season, and switch to the She-crab soup during the dinner months. I really appreciate how attentive the waiting staff and chefs are to my food allergies. Blue Point is undoubtedly a must-visit for any special occasion in OBX.

I had a fantastic meal the other night. The Tuna Special was cooked to perfection! The staff were friendly, and the overall experience was wonderful! The only downside was the absence of bug traps or lights to keep the many local insects away from the food in the outdoor seating area. It wasn't a major issue, but I did spend most of the evening fishing bugs out of my wine. However, that's part of the outdoor dining experience. I would definitely recommend this Outer Banks classic to everyone!

High quality food, friendly atmosphere, exceptional service. We loved it! This place also had good opportunities for children.

The Blue Point has always been my husband’s and my favorite restaurant on the Outer Banks, as we first met there in the 1990s. We watched with interest as it evolved through the rise and fall of the dot-com era, and we appreciated both the large and small renovations over the years. While we've never been food critics, we recently brought our two adult children for their first visit. They have high standards when it comes to dining out, and they were completely satisfied with the food at The Blue Point. I also want to mention that the service from the experienced servers was impeccable; we had no complaints, only compliments. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

An Exceptional restaurant in DUCK NC? Yes. Ok after Tip for a dinner for 2 it was $225…but we ate like ROYALTY. Soda and mock tail. Soup, QUAIL , HAM BISCUITS , calamari then catfish dinner and tenderloin dinner with two deserts (key lime pie and PECAN PIE The QUAL surprised me. You should really try it the HAM BISCUITS really did take the show for the small plates, the jam on them really took it to the next level I don’t even like PECAN PIE. My wife got it and loved it except she didn’t like the bourbon ice cream. I loved the ice cream with it We had great service and great SOUND SUNSET VIEWS. ok I admit it was super foggy and overcast but we still got a couple nice pictures in the pier. I didn’t care that we missed the view since the food was knocked out of the park! I’ll be back
