Starbucks - Dumfries

A big shoutout to the girl who worked alone on the morning shift this past Sunday! She was incredibly nice and efficiently handled all the orders by herself. She definitely deserves a raise! Also, what's up with there being no tip jar at that Starbucks? Shame on the manager for that!

I don?t think I have ever been to this Starbucks where the wait time was not well over 15 minutes for a simple beverage. My family always gives me Starbucks gift cards and I NEVER get to use them because the wait is always so long! I?m going on twenty minutes now still nothing. Smh.

I stopped by on my usual route for a venti iced caramel brûlée latte as I was heading back home to North Carolina from Philadelphia, where I work for the weekend around 10:30 AM. I have to say, this was one of the best lattes I’ve ever had! The location was conveniently accessible from the highway, and the service was incredibly friendly. I've only given one other Starbucks a five-star rating, but this experience was so outstanding that I had to pull over, even with five hours left in my drive, just to give these guys a five-star review!

The store manager, a tall blonde woman, was quite unpleasant during my visit. She was moody and rude to customers. When I ordered my Grande Cappuccino, she rolled her eyes and ignored my request for extra hot water. Another barista noticed the situation and offered to take over my order, but the manager declined. Ultimately, my coffee was made according to her preferences rather than mine. I asked for a refund, but she refused. I find it hard to believe she works in the food industry, especially since she often smokes and never seems to wash her hands before preparing drinks. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
