Chicken Licken - Durban

Service was okay, bought food my desire and the chicken had a funny taste like on a candle flame. It was disappointing because this is my job to go after the inflates.

The chicken is very well seasoned. It has a nice extra kick!! The menu is mostly chicken and pommes. Although its called soul food, its not the same meaning as USA, i.e. I saw not topped greens, Mac and cheese, canned yams etc. on the menu.

I recently started enjoying chicken licken more than kfc. Their chicken is well fried and rested so you don't receive oil dripping chicken. When have a wide selection of meals, but could add more options to the family meals and I find that their portion of chips are to small. I enjoyed my meal from chicken licken cornubia. During this visit to cornubia Mall I actually went to kfc, because it was located closer to the parking. I waited in line placed my order for a family meals, only to be told that they did not have buns. Mash and grave and coleslaw in stock, what a waste of my time kfc, why could you not place a board at the entrance or get your employees to stand at the entrance and let your customers know instead of wasting our time. Chicken licken all the way. A must try is their hot wings. Recommend.
