I didn't expect anything other than a simple breakfast like these late evening joints at 3 a.m. young had mistaken me. the garnel and grits combined with the pancake of the fosters, wow! it was so good. I joke with the cook a little, but at some point he told him how amazing his food was. you have to go.
Location is easy to get to and atmosphere is clean and open. Lots of tasty menu choices with great drinks and really good service. Southern sized portions so don’t over order.
I got the pancake trio and its was the best thing ever. Staff is so nice and the coffee is great! You will love it! Get there early on the weekends or try during the week because it is popular!!!
Service: 3/5. The server should be clear and concise, not mumbling and getting curt when we ask her to repeat what she said. Never once asked if we wanted refills and saw her just one more time after our food had been brought out. But of course, only to give us our check. Price: 3/5. Eggs. You get a dozen for $1.89, at your local grocery. Here for 2 eggs in a scramble with a little chorizo thrown in and you 'll pay $12 accompanied by two refrigerator-air-tasting tortillas. The beignets were priced right at $3 as was the fresh fruit side order. Quality: 3/5. Not impressed enough to make this a weekly visit, like say...Elmo 's Diner. Was looking for a place closer to home to hit up on weekends but I believe I 'll bypass this place. Breakfast for 2 shouldn 't be nearly $40 for something that tastes like I could have easily just made it at home for a quarter the price. You tally up the subpar service and our table and condiments being sticky or greasy, and overall it becomes a Meh kinda experience.
Awful Experience. I put in a to go order for Potato Sensations. Picked it up and left. When placing the order I specifically said no eggs. Upon getting my order it had eggs in it- not a big deal mistakes happen. When they bring me back the correct order (45 minutes after placing my order) I was given the under-cooked, thrown together mess pictured below- the english muffins were not cooked at all. I stated this to the lady serving me and she acted like this was completely normal. If the cheese isn't melted it probably is not the required 160 degrees. Ludicrous. Two stars because I have had good experiences here but it is honestly 50/50.
