Fabulous little bakery in downtown Durham! They have been great with flexing to the times and allow for easy ordering and curbside pickup. Every day they have flatbreads that can accommodate for vegans and carnivores alike. Their pastries/sweeter items are delicious and all worth trying.

Loaf bakery is simply exceptional! They are a bit pricier than other local bakeries, but their breads are always perfect and the flavors, craftsmanship and attention to detail evident in their French pastries truly creates an *experience* worth enjoying! I can?t recommend loaf highly enough.

We're traveling in the Research Triangle cities from AL and came across Loaf while talking a walk in downtown. The bakery actually just closed for the day but when the owner saw us at the door, he came out to greet me and my husband, gave us 2 blueberry galettes for free and welcomed us back in the future. We were so appreciative of his kindness and the pasty was absolutely delicious. If you're ever in downtown Durham, this is the place to go!

Wow! We picked up cheese pepper bread, squash croissant, tomato tart, cinnamon bun, salted caramel bun, walnut maple bar....I'm blown away as we are eating them at home in southern VA. I think our favorite is the salted caramel bun. I've had pastries all over as I own a cafe.....this is the best I have had ...ever.
