Cocoa Cinnamon - Durham

This is the kind of place where you can park your Subaru, listen to the barista tell you about bean origins and matcha sourcing, eavesdrop while based old people trash Donald Trump, and sip on the best iced mocha $6.50 plus tip can buy. And I wouldn’t have it any other way

I have liked the Cocoa Cinnamon in downtown Durham for years but I just had a horrible experience at the one on Hillsborough road. I bought two Chai Tea Lattes and they both turned out to taste like Milk and a tiny bit of Vanilla. No chai flavor in the least. When I returned to ask if they could have forgotten to add Chai they told me Not possible but sometimes our mixture turns out bland. sorry . No offer to replace or refund. What a wasted $16.00 and horrible service. I am done with them. Lucky there are plenty of other better places around Durham that don 't take their customers for granted and offer such a lame excuse with no owning any kind of fix.

Beautiful place and cool vibe. Great place to sit and chill/work/chat for a while. But unfortunately, the iced and hot coffee is super weak (just put more coffee beans!!! and watery. And overpriced for the size.

Great place for coffee. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciated the recommendations staff suggested. Espresso was top notch with perfect presentation. Thank you!
