I would go back and try some more things next time to see how everything else tastes. Place was clean, tables were clean whether from guests or workers. Didn't see the bathrooms but the outdoor sitting area was even clean so that was a plus!
Food was good for both kids and adults. Orders were delivered in a timely manner. It would of been nice if the outside tables had an umbrella.
I thought I got in line in plenty of time for me to get a treat for my kids. Not so much. I waited in line for over 45min inside the cafe. Which if you are familiar with the Life and Science Museum you know that the cafe line can go all the way out into the train area. But this particular trip the line was inside, so I didn't think it should take long. I waited for over 45min just to get to the register. Once at the register the register decided not to work and wouldn't accept debit cards. At that point our train ride arrived and we had to leave. Needless to say my children did not get their sweet treat. Thanks for nothing Sprout Cafe.
The Spinach Salad with strawberries (add chicken) is really good. That's my favorite menu item. Sprout is very kid friendly. When it gets busy, the staff don't have time to clean up after the kids very well. The parents should do it, but shamefully they don't.
This cafe is the only eating option at the Museum of Life and Science. The museum is so good, we are typically there for several hours and need a snack or meal. The food is typical fast food. The design of the cafe is utilitarian... Nothing special. On the other hand, the food is good enough that we don't often bring our own snacks.
