The Broad Street Cafe - Durham

I love this place because there is something for everyone. I had the salmon sandwich it was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. I also like the tomato bisque soup. I would have given a 5 but my friend?s burger wasn?t cooked to her specifications. They corrected it immediately. Nice atmosphere and the staff is really nice. Love it!

Kept forgetting about this place until I would ride by. Finally got there before a DPAC show this past week. I didn't have any expectations, I just wanted to try it and liked the outside seating area. The decor is adorable. You order at rhe counter and you get a pager which goes off when your food is ready. I love they have 8 in pizzas because it's just the right size. The Pinsa's are delicious! Had never heard that term before. 2 of us had burgers and 3 of us had pizza. I got

I had the loop burger, which I ordered medium. It was tasty and filling, seasoned well. It was closer to well done, though. It was good but would probably have been amazing if it was a bit less done. The steak fries were also yummy, nice texture and not greasy. There was a nice patio area for outside dining which would also be okay if it was raining. There are two unisex bathrooms.

Gosh darn it this food is amazing! We went on a weekday evening when it was very quiet and had a great experience. The arugula-loving member of our party was NOT disappointed with the amount of greenery on our pizza, either. Would definitely come again; the menu is expansive and everything looked great.

Went here for lunch. This is the type of place where you place an order at the counter, then pick up your own order. The restaurant was very busy and there was only one person taking orders. I had the bacon/cheddar burger $12.99 and added the Bleu cheese chips (additional $1.99). The burger was good, but not great and the chips were very good, although the portion was small. There are better options in Durham for this type of food. For that amount , I would expect either
