I can't believe this place is so close to my job and I never knew about it! We arrived right when they opened, so there was no wait, and we had plenty of time to ask about their menu favorites. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
Delicious is everything I can say about the bun and wail because they were spectacular! the biscuits and the farm fresh jelly, for beginners, were omg (I never use that.) expected to wait, but that is worth it! on Saturday morning they have the farm market right in front of the parking lot.
I hesitated to share my experience for selfish reasons, as I don't want the restaurant to become too crowded. When we arrived, there was already a one-hour wait for a table. My wife ordered the blueberry chicken bites, while I had the chicken and waffle dish. The flavors were spot on, and I was thoroughly impressed with the meal.
Each breakfast comes with a biscuit beforehand, and I saved mine to enjoy with my meal so I could dip it in the gravy. I was so impressed that as soon as I finished my breakfast, I told my friend that I would definitely come back here when I’m in town again. I'm from the city, and this breakfast made me want to return for sure!
If I could give this Diner 10 stars, I would! The space is tiny but so very quaint. I feel like I had gone back in time a bit. It was spotless, and the service was fabulous. The food choices on the menu were as southern as you could get. We received complimentary buttered biscuits as we waited for our food. YUM Remember the space is small, and you most likely will encounter some wait time, BUT you can order yours as takeout. That's my 2¢ now you decide!
