Beefeater Broomside Park - Durham

Tucked away but definitely worth seeking out, this restaurant serves perfectly cooked steak and fluffy fries. I was a bit disappointed that some items were unavailable due to supply issues, but it didn't detract from the meal at all. The space is roomy and very clean, with reasonable prices and lovely staff who didn't hover at our table. I visited with a friend for a quiet evening, and we would absolutely return.

We dined here on New Year's Eve and enjoyed our meal, which was freshly prepared and served hot. However, they offered a limited menu, so not all items were available. I would return, hoping for a full menu to choose from next time.

We stayed next door and visited the Beefeater for breakfast and dinner all weekend. Food and drinks on every visit was spot on. Very clean establishment with friendly staff. A special thank you to Maggie though, who went over and above all weekend. What a wonderful lady who was always smiling and super friendly. Taking time to explain menus, interacting with our little boy and simply a pleasure to have as our waitress for both evenings. Maggie is a great asset to your team at Beefeater, and we will definitely return when in the area again. Warm wishes from Scotland :
