Illbay - Gateshead

The food at this restaurant was delightful. The staff were very welcoming, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely return in the future.

Decided to try out this restaurant for an early evening meal and we were pleasantly surprised. The early bird menu offered a variety of choices and was well worth the price. After enjoying 3 courses and coffee, we were definitely full! We especially enjoyed the filo pastry starter and the chicken shish for our main course. The baklava dessert was delicious but maybe too much for one person, sharing would have been a better option. The food was excellent and the service was good. We are wondering why we hadn't dined here before.

Very impressed by the eating at this place. the lamb melts in mouth, the wings are not too dry, the hay is tender and juicy and everything tasted fresh. will definitely return.

Visit the other day with my partner. had a great meal. we are very early and were the old guests there. would definitely recommend and visit again. yummy yummy.

Last night for the first time to the jubilee. the staff was nice steph and bella very helpful and friendly. good selection on the menu that came so fast was the superb leberstarter, and good through the rest of the meal, baklava was very exhausting. very impressed that the staff knew a lot of customers who say a lot. we will go back in any case
