Black Hog Bbq - E Main St, Middletown

My wife and I stopped in for lunch today because we were in the area and we had eaten at the one in Frederick before and remembered them having good food. The food we had today however was just unacceptable for barbecue. The brisket was tough as a moccasin and drier than a fart. The fat was not rendered down properly, and it honestly felt like I was eating a beef jerky sandwich. We love bbq, and are always trying to find good ones, but this ain't it. Honestly you're better off just taking the extra Drive to Hagerstown for Mission BBQ, or Williamsport for Still Smoking BBQ (best brisket I've ever had), at least then it's worth the money. I hope Black Hog fixes this issue though because I used to love their barbecue.
