The tempura shrimp had the texture of being microwaved, thought it was a battered crab stick at first. The tempura itself was horrendous, was thicker than Texas beer batter. They came out about 3/4 thick while the shrimp itself was less than a 1/4 inside.Sadly the rolls were pretty bad too. I have had better sushi at Safeway and at Chinese buffet station places. The rice didn't really even stick together. The rice balls for the nigiri just fell apart and had little flavor.Hope I can find something decent in the area sooner than later. Been over 6 months since I have been able to sate my sushi desire.
This was an awesome experience. The server was probably the best part. Dan only works Sundays from what he told me so when I come back itl def be a Sunday lol.The food was good. I had the snow mountain roll, spring rolls, dumplings, chicken cutlets, beef teriyaki, beef fried rice, BBQ eel fried rice, beef ramen, and the green tea ice cream. All of the food was awesome, I just didn't personally like the broth for the ramen. It's Ramen, I usually go to a ramen place specifically if I want a good bowl. The sushi was great. The dishes and rice were awesome.Their homemade sauces were amazing. The chicken cutlet sauce is a bit sweet for me. It is homemade and tastes like sweet pear has been added. It's almost too much imo but works well with the rice if you eat it together. The price for the lunch is unbeatable. 28 bucks all in with the drink.
Some of the best, mist fresh Sashimi I've ever experienced.Great place for really good sushi. Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly!
The food was good, but the servers need to learn some etiquette. I didn't appreciate her hovering over me as I was filling out the CC receipt. She was literally watching me like a hawk.
The hostess here had a disrespectful attitude toward Asians when we first entered the restaurant, then she spoke ill of us in Chinese and thought we didn't understand Chinese.
