Bucktale Inn - Eagle River

I would give this place a 6 out of 5 if I could! The appetizers, fish, coleslaw, and everything else we tried were absolutely delicious. I completely forgot to take a picture when my meal first arrived because the aromas were so enticing and the presentation was beautiful, but I did manage to snap one after digging in. I was thoroughly enjoying my meal halfway through! They also have a children's menu, which is a huge plus for my large family. Our waitress was probably the best I've ever encountered at any restaurant—she was incredibly friendly and polite. I can't wait to return year after year when we're on vacation! Great spot in the Northwoods! The people were really friendly, and the food was outstanding! I will definitely head north again.

I had the 16 oz. broiled cod with homemade potato pancakes, and it was fantastic. The potato pancakes are not from a box—they're made fresh, and you get two generous portions. The fish was also quite tasty, so you definitely won't leave hungry. The service was excellent, even though some diners had to wait an hour. This place is one of my favorites for a fish fry, whether I’m getting takeout or dining in.

Great delicious food!! I tried the Ribs, Petite Filet and the Rouladen. All were spectacular!! Can't wait to eat here again!!!

Very comfortable. Great food, had coconut shrimp. Service was good. Would go again when in the area.
