The food was delicious, the service was excellent (especially considering it was new), and the atmosphere on the property was still peaceful and beautiful despite the recent hurricane. Highly recommended! Thank you for a great experience.
It only enjoyed a beautiful Sunday brunch in this camp style restaurant. Very friendly staff and service was excellent. Eat very delicious and many of them. Mocha maple coffee was a hit. Will definitely return.
Hearty brunch in a rustic environment. A challenging 11/2 hours drive from downtown Halifax on a temporary snow-covered day. Maple butter and syrup were delicious. Blueberry compote was delicious on pancakes. Hot apple cedar in cup a Wam compliment also
The atmosphere especially during a pandemic seemed quite clean, professional and secret. This lodge-style restaurant is well maintained and has delicious dishes in an open kitchen where you can see the chefs... That made a nice breakfast. Food was good, homemade maple whipped...Cream was amazing and we even got a hell of the owner who took time to come to the table. They worked for a milk-free allergy without a touch of eye, and the staff was very friendly. Overall, this is a hidden gem and I will recommend and I plan to go back.
We saw this spot on a food channel TV show, so figured we would include it in our travels around Nova Scotia this year. Meal was well worth the drive! Reasonable size portions if you’re not prone to overstuffing yourself but quite filling, great nutritious...ingredients ...... take it easy on the syrup if your calorie conscious, lol I loved the pancakes some much I bought some flour mix to take home. Prices are about average for this type of venue ..... FYI, it’s not cheap to produce maple syrup! All house made .... baked beans, blueberry compote, syrup etc. Great experience, will go again on our next visit to Nova Scotia ..... and hopefully will have time to walk the trails too, we should have worn some walking
