Whenever I place an order whether if its for delivery or pickup I specifically ask for a regular cheese pie, thin crust, light on the sauce, WELL DONE. At times, depending upon who 's making the pizza but what strikes me the most is that Whenever I receive the order incorrectly it 's actually made by the owner himself. I 've had to return 3 pies of pizza on separate occasions. Instead of offering an apology for the inconvenience the owner had the audacity to argue the fact that the pizza was made to order ? ?. Only thing the owner offered was to make me another pie, as I noticed he doesn 't wear gloves when making the pizzas at the point I 've had enough and just asked for my money back. As I walked out of the pizza shop the owner shouted out Get outta here you stupid **** . This is how loyal customers get treated at brunos pizzeria.
Placed a dinner order giving my phone number and address. The female who answered the phone said it should be 40 min. At 1 hr I called them to check in and she explained that her delivery driver came called me and rang bells and came back. I had zero calls in my history and didn't receive a call back from the restaurant either. She said the delivery guy already left and refused to deliver the food saying they were closing. No rectifying of me waiting an hour. My guess is she forgot to put the order in and was covering her mistake by burning a customer but either way you might be wasting your time ordering here.
Great local pizza joint, easy parking and best “real” Italian food in Jackson Heights.Prob the best selection of buffalo wings in Queens (mango-habanero)….and now bindi gelato!!!!
First time customer here and tried the pizzas.Margherita and cheese pizza slices were too soft, (soggy) and wet, not crispy and not cooked well. There are a lot of customers though... maybe their slices of pizza were better, and we got the not so good ones.
Brunos has been a local staple in the community for many years. I'm not sure if they have new owners again, but it has changed for the worse. The people working behind the counter don't seem to do much except stand around waiting to be told what to do.We haven't had any of their food in a couple of months, but my daughter and I decided to grab a nona slice, pepperoni pin wheel and garlic knots. We took it to go, (a 5 minute drive) when we got home the garlic knots were cold in the middle, the nona slice was so doughy barely had any sauce or cheese. The food all tasted stale and old. So dissapointing because we know how good it used to be. Will not be returning, such a shame.
