Bay Kitchen - East Hampton North

Spectacular sunset from the covered but open dining room. This is a real seafood restaurant with excellent choices and variety of fresh fish, mussels, lobster. That's a jewel.

I discovered this hidden gem on the final night of the season. As a resident of NYC, I dine out more often than I care to admit, and I can honestly say that this is one of the best restaurants I have ever experienced. The atmosphere, service, and the food were all outstanding. Our party of 4 enjoyed seafood appetizers and main dishes, and each dish was so exquisite that I couldn't choose a favorite. It was truly a delightful dilemma to have!

The food is always delicious, staff great, but in the evening we didn't go so well. I was there a number of times and always loved the view, the scene, the food, so I was disappointed that the host and our waiter waited less than helpful for 20 minutes for a drink (I had to finally go to the host and request a waiter) no excuses from the waiter nothing. Talk about setting the sound for the evening and so it has gone! End of the season bubble?

I dined at this restaurant two nights in a row. The second night was even better than the first. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the wait time was shorter than the first night. I definitely plan on returning next season.
