The Polka Dot Bakery - East London

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! I tried the salted caramel brownie, the peanut butter brownie, and a gigantic chocolate chip cookie. The lady in charge is so sweet, and the food is incredible.

We sampled three different types of cookies and blondies, and all three were quite impressive, especially considering they were gluten-free! However, I found them a bit too sweet for my taste.

I've never tasted brownies or cookies as amazing as these! As a vegan who is also gluten-free, Polka Dot feels almost too good to be true. The flavors are incredibly delightful, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for London.

Wow, wow, wow! I tried the lemon and blueberry cheesecake, and it was incredibly filling, but I finished it all in one sitting because it was that good! I can't wait to go back and try the brownies. They have such an amazing selection of options! I also love that the owner sells boxes of scraps and offcuts (though you need to get there early to snag them). It's a fantastic idea for reducing waste, and honestly, they taste just as good, if not better, than the regular items!

The woman who runs this market stand was really friendly during my visit, and the cookies, brownies, and other tasty treats were all delightful. The prices were also quite reasonable given their generous sizes and the location in central London. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area!
