We were warmly welcomed by a young lady at the counter who took our order. My wife chose the carrot cake while I opted for the blueberry banana cake. Both desserts were fantastic - fresh, flavorful, and generously sized. My wife ordered an americano and I had a latte, both of which were also delicious with a nice hot serving. The staff were excellent, showing great customer service skills and being pleasant, chatty, and polite.
We visited Bugtopia and stopped by this restaurant for some refreshments. The shop across the street, which also offers ice cream and milkshakes, is part of the same business. It is a clean and well-staffed place to visit. The kids' ice cream milkshakes were delicious, as were the regular ice creams. We didn't try any other food, but it looked very appetizing. There are plenty of tables inside and outside, as well as free parking and discounts at nearby outlets.
When you're shopping at Freeport, treat yourself to a visit to Trail's End restaurant in the square. They offer a special sugar rush drink - a chocolate orange hot drink topped with loads of cream, chocolate orange bits, other chocolate pieces, and marshmallows. It's a fun challenge to see how much they can balance on top before serving it to you. I was the first to try it and loved it. Don't miss out on this treat - head down there and ask for it. It's only £4.50 for a taste of heaven. Don't hesitate, give it a try!
Wow!! Afternoon tea for 4 was amazing. excellent value for money, staff looked after us. Will be back again. Was even allowed to take home what we couldn’t eat
Sat in the sun chilling with a great cup of coffee letting the world pass you by and debating should I have another coffee
